Day 3 & 4 - Busy-ness

Hello Son!

I've been real busy this entire week, but I bet not as tired as you. According to the one email I received from you, life has been quite hectic since Day 1.

This is a great time to relay to you what I've done when I get really busy. Crazy busy.

My usual reaction to being busy is to complain. That is the unfortunate truth. I usually let those around me know that I am busy and miserable. Frowns are a requirement for this reaction.

Sometimes - not as often as I'd like - I prepare myself before I get that terrible feeling of never-ending-activity. Thoughts and desires of "I will do all things without grumbling or complaining", or "I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me" preface this conscious decision to NOT complain.

We all have a choice in our RE-action. Our circumstance should not have an effect on what our spirit or response to it is. With God's Word constantly filtering thru our minds, we can be prepared for whatever HE puts us thru. We can live purposefully and proactively looking for what God has in store for us in our present situation(s).

Just a few thoughts for you (but mostly a reminder to me!) while you are adjusting.

Son, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" despite your circumstances.
