No rules and no fancy introduction.
It started TODAY. What a drag and yet what an awesome experience! A total Paradox for a father. Especially with the oldest - the first.
Last night trying to fall asleep was gut wrenching - pleasant memories yet many regrets. Maybe God has more plans and training for me than him! I'm beginning to personally realize that parenting is not necessarily about molding and shepherding a child, it is much more that. It has something to do with God filing away some rough spots on the mother and father - teaching more to them than the kids!
The room and house are empty without him. Soccer practice was mechanical. So was dinner.
Leaving was awful, just awful. Perhaps it would be best memorialized as "But I'm not done yet". But guess what? The One who really can CHANGE someone isn't anywhere close to being done with my son... or me!
Quote for today - to my son
“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.” - John Wesley
